Bass Fishing

This upcoming semester will feature a brand new sports club at Rutgers this year. The bass fishing club will be one of the two bass fishing clubs to be recognized in the State of New Jersey. The purpose of bass fishing club is to improve the future of the sport of bass fishing as well as create an avenue to meet fellows student at RU.  The club encourages anyone to join, even if they have not fished before.  The club will primarily be a bass fishing club but will be open to any other opportunities to catch other species of fish. The club will be competing in the FLW College Bass Fishing Circuit in the upcoming year. It features 4 regional events where universities from all over the Northeast compete for a chance to win money for the club and the Universirty and then get a chance to fish for a College National Championship! To determine who will represent for Rutgers University on the tournament trail, we will hold various competitive tournaments among the club members   The club will not be limited to local and national tournaments.  We will also hold several fishing outings such as bank fishing on local lakes. If your looking to get away from studying, love to fish, and want to create something special here at Rutgers I encourage all who are interested to join!
